Fortnite Playoffs Update

With Spring standings for Fortnite being finalized, the season playoffs and stage two tournament will be launched soon; read on for an overview of what to expect as we move into post-season launch

Season Playoffs

The top (4) teams in each group will advance to the 128-team double elimination playoff bracket where the top (8) teams will qualify for the live championship to face teams from the other circuits; four teams from the upper bracket and four teams from the lower bracket will qualify.

The playoff bracket will be live in a few days, so check your matchup on Friday, March 1st. As a note, some participants have informed us that their verification instructions email has gone to spam, so we are giving teams a few extra days: all teams that have not 100% finalized their player verification with us by end of day Thursday the 28th will be removed from the bracket entirely, so please check your email for verification instructions, otherwise you risk being removed!

Double check all your folders and tabs (spam, etc), as you do not want to let all your hard work go to to waste!

**UPDATE 3/1/19 - Due to the number of voluntary drop outs and noncompliant teams that were removed, the bracket was launched with Ro64 starting March 9th, with March 2nd being an uneeded week.

Note, since we are potentially doing back-to-back lower bracket matches, the time on the match page may not be accurate, so please use the schedule on this news post or the RULES page!

Schedule:

Tournament Series - Stage Two

The top (4) teams from each stage one qualifier will advance to 32-team double elimination bracket where the top (4) teams will qualify for the live championship. Two teams from the upper and lower bracket will qualify.

Player verification is due Thursday, February 28th, end of day. If you need the verification insturctions again, please contact us and we'll forward it to you again! All pending teams will be removed from stage two entirely.

Double check all your folders and tabs (spam, etc), as you do not want to let all your hard work go to to waste!

Once the bracket is launched, this news post will be edited with the schedule; as a note, since we are potentially doing back-to-back lower bracket matches, the time on the match page may not be accurate, so please use the schedule on this news post or the RULES page!

**UPDATE 3/4/19 - A few teams were removed due to noncompliance. The following two teams were tentatively left in, but must still finalized the last of their verification: Ashland University Gold, UofU Crimson Gaming

Schedule:

Second Chance Tournament

As announced in previous news post available HERE, we will be hosting a Second Chance Tournament for the losers of the final round of both circuits; the two losers from Tournament Stage 2 lower Ro4 B and the four losers from the Season Playoffs Ro8 B will be grouped together to face each other in a one-day double elimination tournament (3 rounds back-to-back) on April 13, with the top (4) teams advance to the final event (two from upper and two from lower).
