LoL Ranked Scrims - Ladder Season Launch

Missed season registration or looking to play more? Either way, this CSL community event is for you! Play ranked scrims against other teams and climb to the top of the ladder for glory (and prizes)!

Ranked Scrims Ladder

We're excited to test a recently added feature of the website with an awesome opportunity for collegiate League of Legends teams. If you're in a League of Legends or esports club and are itching for more competitive opportunities, we've got the perfect solution for you: “The Ladder”.

You'll be able to create teams (or use your existing one!) and play ranked scrims against other teams to improve your teams' ELO rating. At the end of the Ladder event, the highest ranked teams will win a prize for themselves AND a CSL sponsorship for their club

You do not have to be enrolled in our current JV1/JV2 season in order to participate. Aditionally, participation in this scrim ladder is at-will optional; teams can play as much or as little as they'd like!

For more information including how it works and where to get assistance, read below!

The CSL League of Legends Ladder

Missed season registration or looking to play more? Either way, this scrim event is for you!

We're excited to test a recently added feature of the website with an awesome opportunity for collegiate League of Legends teams. If you're in a League of Legends or esports club and are itching for more competitive opportunities, we've got the perfect solution for you: ìThe Ladderî. You'll be able to create teams (or use your existing one!) and play ranked scrims against other teams to improve your teams' ELO rating. At the end of the Ladder event, the highest ranked teams will win a prize for themselves AND a CSL sponsorship for their club.

How to get Involved

Getting involved is easy - all you'll have to do is register an account (if you donít already have one), make a team, and start challenging other teams. All matches will count for your teams' ELO rating. Play as many matches as you can, and at the end of the ladder period, the highest ranked teams will win prizes for themselves and their club.

If you already have a CSL League of Legends team enrolled in our current JV1/JV2 season, you can use the same team to compete in the Ladder, or you can create a new team and mix and match other players from your club. You do not have to be enrolled in our current JV1/JV2 season in order to participate in the Ladder. Teams that missed season registration can create teams and start climbing at any time; there is no registration end date, so teams can start playing at any time, as well as play as often or as little as desired.

Note that this is completely separate and optional from our on-going league. Please do not contact our tournament admins regarding The Ladder; more information such who to contact for questions and assistance in finding scrims is available below.

How ELO Works

ELO is a pretty standard ranking system, used primarily in chess. Every team starts at 1500 (all previous ELO will be reset at the start of the Ladder), and you will gain ELO based on the rating of your opponent. You'll gain more points for defeating teams with a higher rating, and less points for beating teams with a lower rating. We do not have any win streak bonuses at the moment, just a straightforward rating system.

ELO rating are applied to teams, not players. If you have any questions, please contact LoL Community Manager Drakehiro#1738 in our DISCORD SERVER or tweet @csllol!
