CSL SFV Tournament Details

We're working with local collegiate clubs to bring Street Fighter 5 to a campus near you. This move is the next step as CSL works to establish roots and support the FGC scene and we are thrilled to be working alongside Capcom to make it happen. 

The Events

April 20 - Online Qualifier for ESPN Collegiate Esports Championship - see more details below!


Format - 3v3 Teams

Each team selects a starting player to play a match through double blind pick. The winner of the match stays in and the loser is eliminated, so their team sends out one of their remaining players. This process repeats until all three players have been eliminated from one team and a winner is decided.



There will be a sliding prize pool based on registrations. A tournament with a minimum of 4 teams will have a $600 prize, winner take all. Any tournament with 6 teams or more will feature a $1,000 prize pool with the following splits:


Registration requirements

Any college student can register to play. All you need to do is find 2 friends from your school to compete with. Registration for these tournaments is also free! Just show up to the venue and have your student ID available. There is no limit to the number of teams from a school that can register!

ESPN CEC Online Qualifier

We're hosting an online qualifier for the ESPN Collegiate Esports Championship! The top 4 teams will be flown to the CEC which is on May 11th in Houston.

The qualifier is on April 20th, starting at 12pm PST. More details below:
